I Love My Roommates!

My Roommates are the Best

Literally the Best

I don't know what I'd do without them.  Last week my fiance broke up with me, but I have the best support system down here!  Being able to work, enjoy the parks, and travel the world (Well sort of at Epcot....), I have been able to keep it off my mind.  I really didn't do much this week since I've been kind of stuck inside doing school work and catching up with Netflix.

Here's a little Minnie Mouse for your day.

And Jaime doing what she does best.

And a little bit of Wishes just because.

I Really Have No Clue...

My Blog is So Boring!

I have no idea how to actually write a blog or what to write about!
I feel as though this blog is going to be a lot about pictures, Disney Classes, and my adventures in general... But I'm perfectly fine with that!

End of the Flower and Garden Festival.. It's Peter Pan!

Alexis love me... and I've learned Florida and my hair don't mix well.

These toys are leaving soon :(

We're all a little crazy.

Check-In Day

A Little Late, but Here It Is!

Soooo, I know that it's been about a month that I've been here, but its just been so busy!  I've decided to write today about how the first couple days go as you arrive on the program.

I only had a day to pack between my move from college down to here to Florida, so that was a little hectic.  A lot of us arrived the night or two before and stayed in the Holiday Inn across from Vista Way.  That's where I met my roommate Alexis; she picked me up from the airport and we kind of just went on an adventure to find Vista Way!  Alexis' mom rented a car since they're from Arizona so we didn't have to drag our luggage around Vista Way.

When you get to Vista, you kind of just line up with everyone else that is there.  It's very awkward if you aren't too outgoing SO BEWARE.  Once in line, you get your Disney College Program Guide Book.  It has everything in it from Complex Layouts to the Point System Rules.  Next, you get your Housing ID picture taken and get your first official Disney ID!

It's pretty much one giant line the first couple hours.  They spit you up into groups and give you your housing keys, apartment numbers and talk to you a little about the Disney Look (or at least for our group).  You also get a time to go take the drug test if you are in certain roles, such as attractions!

You're then hop on a bus to go to Casting.  This is where we did all of our paperwork and got our assignments for work!

Pretty boring post, but its still a post!  Here are some random pictures from the last month!

Quick Post

A Few Things I Wish I Brought/What I've Needed...

1) A Car!  If you have a car, I suggest you bring one.  Yes, we do get transportation from TrasnStar, but it is incredibly unreliable and limits your traveling range.

2)  Things for Classes-  If you are taking any of the Disney Classes down here, make sure you are prepared.  I could have easily brought the things I needed from home instead of spending money down here.

3)  Hangers and Plastic Drawers-  Definitely something I couldn't brought with me if I had a car.  Beware, I live in Chatham with 2 bedrooms.  We took the larger closet so we have a lot of room, but the other one doesn't have that much space... (Don't over pack!)

4) Spending Money!  This is super important in your first few weeks since your won't be getting a paycheck.  Make sure you have saved up some money before coming down and budget once you get here!

P.S. If you are get to the phone interview, prepare yourself with YouTube videos and other blogs... and be sure to SMILE!

Day Off!

After a fun, long week at work, we had today off.  What else to do but to go park hopping!
Me and Alexis decided to make our way over to EPCOT and take the boat over to Hollywood Studios (Where I work).
I really wanted Japanese for the past couple of weeks so why not go to Japan to eat dinner!

Lots of pictures in this blog!

EPCOT!

I had some awesome Sushi and then we headed over to Morocco to meet Aladdin and Jasmine!

As you can see... My favorite Princess is Jasmine
And Alexis' man is of course Aladdin!

A little too excited for this.

There's a random London telephone
And dolphins!  What I want to do in the future!

After that we literally just hopped on a boat to Hollywood Studios

These are from before, but yay!  Hollywood Studios!

Wasn't taking too many photos, but here's me singing in the rain!
And there was only a 30 minute wait at Toy Story Midway Mania at 9pm... Sounds a little too crazy for me.  We went on all the major rides there... Toy Story, The Great Movie Ride, Rock n' Roller Coaster, Tower, and Star Tours....  Had an AMAZING day off!

Previous Picture of Tower

These are from FANTASMIC!

Last week we went to Magic Kingdom and I think we concluded the Alexis is my wifey

And once again miss you Julian
