Magic Kingdom Class!

Just Got Back from Magic Kingdom!

Sooo, I just got back from Magic Kingdom from our Exploring Leadership seminar!  We split up into groups to explore different sections of the park.  We got to explore Liberty Square while the others got to go to Frontierland.  I learned an interesting fact that Walt Disney is the only person to have his window on Main Street facing Cinderella's Castle.  Also, every design throughout the park has a purpose.  There's a reason why there is the train station outside the park so that you cannot see the castle.  Also the music is different in every area of the park.  Whether you're outside the park or on a bridge between lands, the music itself is designed to bring you into another world.

 We had the best group.  We win.

Exploring Leadership and More!

So I don't have any pictures from my class, but I thought I'd write about it.  The seminar I'm taking is called Exploring Leadership.  We are learning about all the different types of leadership around property.  Our teacher Jeff is the funniest guy ever and did the DCP a while back.  He's told us how he's worked his way up through the Disney Company starting back on the program in attraction as at The Haunted Mansion.  He really wanted The Jungle Cruise.... But don't we all :)  

We plan on going on two class trips to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom.  I can not wait for those as it will be a different experience outside of the classroom..... Oh, and that reminds me, the classroom is the building right next door to me.  All I have to do is wake up nice and early and hop on over there.  

This experience has been truly amazing so far... And its only been 2 months!  It's crazy how fast this has gone by already.

July 4th... Well 3rd!

Magic Kingdom for 4th of July Fireworks

Instead of going on the 4th since most of us had to work, my roommates and I all went on the 3rd to see the 4th of July Celebration at Magic Kingdom.  We stayed the whole day to enjoy the most of our day off and loved it!  Even though we see the same parades and go on the same rides... It's somehow different every time!

Frozen Summer Fun

Frozen's Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

So it's already started, but Disney's animated feature "Frozen" has taken over Hollywood Studios.  There's a processional in the morning, a dance party, a Sing-A-Long Celebration, and Frozen Fireworks at the End of the night!  It's been crazy madness these last couple of weeks. 

I've made so many friends through Frozen and it's only the beginning!
I've even been able to Cross-Train into a new role through Frozen being in the Backlands by Toy Story.
